Stop the Fan Wars
I'm a firm believer in watching what you want, liking what you like, and understanding that what entertains you might not be someone else’s favorite—but that doesn’t make it bad, wrong, or less important to someone else. Do I follow that mantra 100% of the time? No.
Don’t get me wrong, I try to, but I don’t always succeed. I’m not going to act all high and mighty or pretend I’m not biased sometimes. I’m a passionate fan, and I’m human. That said, I’m also in the camp that believes the tribalism—whether you love it or hate it—needs to calm down.
I watched a clip of MJF saying something along the lines of, "If a wrestler says they don’t watch the other networks, they’re either lying or not good at their job, because why wouldn’t you see what other champions in your field are doing?" He’s right. Just enjoy your shows, enjoy the matches, and enjoy the wrestlers, whether it’s AEW, WWE, ROH, TNA, GCW, or anything else.
Honestly, pro wrestling is the best it’s been in decades. We need to remind ourselves how lucky we are to have so much variety and the chance to watch not only the legends but also the new generation doing what they do best.
