Sup with Sasha

Sup with Sasha

So hear me out … I believe that Sasha Banks is a star and I can’t wait to see her in the ring again.

I mean come on she was one of the Four Horsewomen to come up from NXT. Was an NXT women’s champion, held the women’s title 6 times on the main roster, and was a 3-time tag team champion. And those are just her title reigns. Let’s not forget she was one of the first women to compete in a match in Saudi Arabia, wrestled in the first women’s hell in a cell and iron-woman matches, and was the first woman of color to main event Wrestlemania. She has crossover appeal and has dipped her toes into Hollywood, she’s cousins with Snoop Dogg and loves anime which could open doors to multiple different markets. She is worth just as much as Charlotte and Becky. Now I know the way she handled things and just walked out while holding women’s tag titles wasn’t the most professional but we all get frustrated. Even we as fans get fed up with creative at times. But she has been putting on great matches and I haven’t heard too many things about her being difficult to work with until this situation.
Apparently, she has still been training and perfecting her craft during this time. She was down in Mexico training with Juventud Guerrera and Samuray Del Sol and speaks about how she felt so at home there. I’d love to see how the Lucha style has helped to up her game. Rumors are running rampant about what’s next for her with NJPW leading the pack. She will be making an appearance at Wrestle Kingdom but it is unknown in what way but fingers crossed it’s in the ring against Kairi Sane. AEW would benefit hugely from her presence on the women’s roster and could set up some interesting stories with the likes of Jade and Saraya. Or maybe she does end up back at WWE which would be interesting with everything that happened. Either way, Mercedes needs to get back at it and continue to make Eddie proud.

     …And that’s the bottom line
