CM Punk's matches are terrible and are starting to repeat themselves

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins suffered a disappointing loss on RAW's Netflix premiere, in a finish that felt frustratingly unoriginal. Rollins was defeated by CM Punk in a main event that many fans noted eerily mirrored a match Punk had with AEW star Jon Moxley years ago. Back in 2022, during a high-stakes AEW World Title feud, Punk defeated Moxley at All Out with the exact same sequence—two GTS finishers to secure the victory.

On RAW's highly anticipated Netflix debut, the match between Rollins and Punk delivered in action but left some viewers questioning the lack of creativity in its conclusion. Social media quickly pointed out the parallels, leaving fans divided on whether the homage was intentional or simply uninspired. For such a historic episode, many were hoping for a more unique and memorable finish but they were sadly left unsatisfied.
